According to the Jaipur police, the complainant was an Young aspiring cricketer who met Yash Dayal in 2023. She was 17 at the time.
Yash Dayal
Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer Yash Dayal is in serious legal trouble again after being booked in Jaipur for allegedly raping a minor. The victim, now 19, was an aspiring cricketer who met Dayal in 2023 at the age of 17, reportedly through cricket networks. She alleges Dayal first assaulted her in 2023 and again in April 2025, during an IPL match in Jaipur, promising to help her career while exploiting her emotionally and sexually.
This is not Dayal’s first brush with the law—he was already facing accusations from a Ghaziabad woman, who alleged she was exploited on a false promise of marriage. In that separate case, a High Court stay was granted on Dayal’s arrest, and investigations are ongoing.
Jaipur police stated that the FIR was registered on July 23 under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other sections related to rape. The POCSO Act is very strict and can lead to at least 10 years in jail if convicted.
Shockingly, this comes just weeks after another FIR was filed against Dayal in Ghaziabad where he’s accused of sexually exploiting a woman on the pretext of marriage over five years. In that case, the Allahabad High Court has currently stayed his arrest.
Yash Dayal was instrumental in RCB’s IPL 2025 win, but these allegations are now clouding his future, with investigations ongoing in both cases.
